Catholic Identity

Our school community celebrates the Liturgy on a regular basis. Our school Mass is usually on Friday mornings at 8:30 am. The students have active roles as greeters, readers and gift bearing as well as singing. These opportunities foster leadership skills in our students. Our second graders undergo sacramental preparation with the All Saints Parish community, as well as with their classmates in school for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Our philosophy puts Christ as the foundation of what we do on a daily basis. Christ is an integral part of our daily instruction. We realize each child is unique and deserves respect and the opportunity to be successful spiritually, academically, and socially.

Each day begins with an all school prayer time and continues in the classroom with their own special prayer time with their teacher and classmates. On Wednesday morning, our associate pastor leads the school in a scripture decade of the rosary. We believe praying together as school and class communities brings Christ together with us and sets a positive tone for the day. See notes in Curriculum: Religion section.
