School Choir

Students in grades 4th-8th grade are invited to be involved with the school choirs. The choirs practice during the school day. In the past, there have been three school choirs and they take turns singing at the school Masses. Mrs. Dusek, our music teacher, practices with them and leads them at Mass.

Young Voices Choir (Grades 2-6)

Does your child love to sing?  Join the Young Voices choir to experience the JOY of singing the beautiful music of our Catholic faith at Mass.  Singing in choir gives children the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to bring glory to God, lead the congregation in prayer, and expand their musical skills.

Rehearsal:

Track I: Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30pm in the Church (2nd and 3rd graders only stay for the first half hour)

The students will sing for 9:00 am Mass, once per month, as well as the 4:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve.

To register, email Rebecca at rvisser@allsaintschurch.com (952.469.6476)

Teen Choir (Grades 7-12)

The Teen Choir sings a variety of choral and Catholic liturgical music; improves music skills and ensemble singing; and occasionally rings tone chimes for choir and congregational music. Teens may audition to cantor at Mass. By preparing and sharing God’s gift of music, we are all enriched.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30pm in the Church

Sings for Mass:  5:30pm Benediction and 6:00pm Mass on Tuesdays once per month (in lieu of rehearsal); occasional Sunday/Holy Day Masses

To register, email Cynthia at cmoore@allsaintschurch.com (952.985.9984)

Teen 11:00 am Band (Grades 7-12)

This band includes guitar, bass, piano and singers, and lead music at the 11:00 am Mass one to two times per month, under the direction of an adult leader.  Rehearsal times vary.  Repertoire includes praise and worship music.  Are you a teen enthusiastic about your faith and the liturgy, but not comfortable singing or playing an instrument?  We are in need of someone to run the sound system during Mass (no experience necessary - we will train you!).
