About Me

Brief Bio:
Hi!  My name is Joanie Goldammer.  In this 2023-2024 school year, I am in my 25th year working at All Saints Catholic School as a Teacher’s Aide for Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade.  I started this position when my son Matthew was a Kindergartener!  It is such a joy and a blessing in my life to work here, and to get to pray with the children and to help and teach them for the three school years.  I get to know them and their families so well!  I am also a Catechist for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Religious Program for Kindergarten in the school.

Interesting Facts:
My husband Duane and I celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary this September.  We have also been parishioners of All Saints for 32 years this coming spring, and we are so grateful to be part of this beautiful Catholic Church and School community.   We have been blessed with one son, Matthew, who is 29 years old.  He attended All Saints School from Kindergarten through 8th Grade and is a proud alumnus of the school!  Our family has grown as Matthew was united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony to Lauren in July of 2021.  We have been blessed with her joining our family.  God is so good!

I am involved in Liturgical Ministry at Mass as a Sacristan, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion.  I have been a student at the Catechetical Institute for their two-year Pillars course and for two other courses. The C.I. is an ongoing formation resource from The Seminaries of Saint Paul for Catholic adults who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and further their spiritual formation.  What a gift and a blessing this is!  I highly recommend it!  I also enjoy spending time together with my family, prayer time and reading, going for walks and hiking, baking, and traveling.

Favorite Scripture Verses:
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”  Matthew 16:24.

Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray.  The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:13-14.
