Starting in grade school, it was always my dream to become a teacher. To pursue that dream, I attended the College of St. Benedict and earned a major in Elementary Education, as well as a minor in mathematics. After graduation, I taught for 5 years at St. Wenceslaus School in New Prague followed by 7 years at Our Lady of Grace School in Edina. During that time, I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas. (My allegiance still lies with CSB/SJU. Go Bennies and Johnnies!) From there, I went on to earn my K-12 Reading Specialist licensure, because I am passionate about teaching reading. Now, I am excited to work at All Saints!
I met my husband while we both worked in the games department at Valleyfair. We have a 4-year-old son named Drew. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, biking, and hiking.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
