Volunteering

Volunteers are an integral part of our school and have many roles including morning drop-off, lunchroom/recess, office and classroom help, chaperoning field trips, fundraising activities and projects, and more.


All volunteers must have their Essential 3 information completed as required by the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis.

How can I help?

At All Saints, you may hear us refer to our volunteers as mission partners. We work together with the same goal: Guiding children to Christ through Faith, Community, Learning, and Service.


Parents are encouraged to be involved in the day-to-day school activities at All Saints and are welcome in the school and classrooms, whether visiting or volunteering. Involvement also empowers parents by providing each family with a greater stake in our school’s success.

  • Completing the Requirements

    The Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis requires that all volunteers complete the “Essential 3”. The Essential 3 or E3 includes an online training course (called VIRTUS), a completed background check, and a signed code of conduct which must be renewed every three years.

  • New Volunteers

    Click the button below to find instructions on how to complete your Essential 3 or “E3.” In addition to the online requirement, you will need to print off and complete the New Volunteer Application and the 123b Form. Please turn both documents in to the school office.

  • Returning Volunteers

    You need to renew your Essential 3 requirements every 3 years. Often volunteers receive an email letting them know the steps to take to renew, or read the document below. If you don’t remember your login information, do not attempt to re-register, contact the VIRTUS help desk at 1.888.847.8870.

  • New in 2024-2025

    Each family completes 5 events! To entice more families to get involved and help at our school, we are offering Out of Uniform passes! For every 5 shifts completed, you can earn an Out of Uniform pass for each child in your family. We are providing a tracking sheet you can turn in when you have volunteered for 5 events.
