Bio:

I am excited to serve here as your new art teacher and work in a great school! I was teaching K-12 art for the past two years in Wisconsin. Before that, I taught Middle School and High School Art for two years in Texas. I taught at a private art school and as a tutor prior to that for ten years with various ages. I received a bachelor’s degree from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas, where I studied Fine Arts and Education. I also attended Texas Tech University to work on a master’s degree in Art Education. I would like to pursue a master’s degree here in Minnesota.  I served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and have three children who are now in their 20’s. I recently got engaged and looking forward to a summer wedding next year.

Interesting Facts:

I enjoy my new Min Pin puppies, hiking through State Parks and National Parks, painting and drawing, riding motorcycles, meeting new people, eating and making gourmet food, camping, and going to museums.
