Mrs. Carol Margarit

All Saints Catholic School has been part of my life since September 1995 when our son began Kindergarten here and I began my first job as a part-time teacher/part-time aide. The following year I began teaching Kindergarten which I loved and taught for 18 years. In the spring of 2014, I was asked to be the principal of this wonderful school. After eight years as principal, I transitioned to my new role, assistant principal, in 2022.

Brief Bio:
I grew up on a farm north of Cannon Falls, MN. I attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in New Trier. I then ventured to Cannon Falls Junior-Senior High School. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and my Master's and my principal license certification through St. Mary’s University in Winona.

My husband, Kevin, and I have 2 children. Our son, Danny, and his wife, Kellie are expecting a baby girl in February 2024. Our daughter, Katie, and her husband, Ashden Glenn, have a little boy, Taylen. My new position has allowed me to have every Wednesday off to take care of Taylen.

Interesting Facts:
After graduating from high school, I attended Dakota County Vo-Tech (currently Dakota County Technical College) for accounting. I worked at a CPA firm in Edina (where I met my husband) and then The Pillsbury Co. in downtown Minneapolis before going back to school to become a teacher.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to read and relax on a beach. I love creating new things in my happy place, my craft room.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”  Matthew 19:14
